In the middle of this lock-downed August, we would like to invite you to join us virtually in our August meeting presented by Dr. Nancy Briggs from the UNSW.

The topic of her talk is When your research meets Covid: A case study, which I believe quite a lot of us would really have something to say about this as well... Well, we should be able to have a pretty active Q&A session after the talk I guess. :-)

Please note for security reasons, you will need to register in advance for this meeting: https://macquarie.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0kd-iqrDgjGNNY_hfmbHcKJZ9XPbMejYTv

When your research meets Covid: A case study

As researchers we often encounter unexpected events that change the intended course of our projects. This global pandemic has affected all aspects of our work. We may have had to change our entire project, altered the design or stopped data collection altogether.  This talk will discuss statistical treatments of affected projects and illustrate some of the decisions I have had to make through a case study.
