Emily will share strategies to rethink how you work, how to prioritise your tasks, and share tips and tricks to organize your workload, meet deadlines, and manage emails. Whether you're just starting out, working in academia, or industry, this session is sure to provide some insights to help improve your workflow.

Presenter: A/Professor Emily Karahalios, University of Melbourne

Emily is a biostatistician in the Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. Emily is the Deputy Head of the Biostatistics Unit in the Centre, a senior biostatistician in the Methods and Implementation Support for Clinical and Health research Hub (MISCH), and coordinator for the Master of Biostatistics courses at the University of Melbourne. Emily’s role as a teaching, research and collaborating statistician has led her to find ways to improve her workflow and manage her time, and she has been sharing her tips with others for several years.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received prior to two weeks before the event will be refunded, minus the Stripe processing fee (1.75% + $0.30 per transaction) and an SSA administration fee of $20.

From then onward no part of the registration fee will be refunded. However, registrations are transferable within the same organisation. Please advise any changes to events@statsoc.org.au.
