Hello all. Rather than expanding on details straight off, i have been an Airline Pilot in Australia for 15 years. Was a hard road to get there, and loved my job with a passion. Out of the blue - 2 neurological events have met with CASA taking my Medical License away. I am now on low level medication with no side effects and no symptoms for 3 years now. I feel normal and completely safe to fly. CASA (our Regulator) use a measure of if you are less than a 2% risk of a repeat event (apparently the risk level of the general population) then you can argue to get your Medical back. How they apply this 2% to any case i have no idea and bet they don't know either. I bet a Statistician out there would. Can anyone help me whether in kind or under a paid arrangement? I can be contacted directly on 0418348957. Thank you in anticipation.
