Malaria Modellers Conference Australia is now calling for abstract submissions! Following the success of MMCA 2024, we are bringing the conference back bigger and better for 2026! At MMCA, we aim to showcase research from across Australia in mathematical and statistical modelling of malaria, and other vector-borne diseases, and facilitate networking and collaboration amongst modellers both nationally and internationally. The conference will be held in Perth, Western Australia on the 14th and 15th September 2026. Registration will open in coming weeks and tickets will be available for under $250, with a discount available for students (for in-person attendance both days). This conference will offer hybrid attendance for in person and online attendees.
Our call for abstracts is now open here, via our website or using the QR code below. We encourage any, but especially early career, researchers working in mathematical and statistical modelling of malaria, and other vector-borne diseases to submit an abstract, abstract submission is open to researchers based in Australia and internationally.
Submissions close at 5:00PM AWST, Friday 31 July 2026. Abstract acceptance is on condition that the applicant will register to attend and present at the conference, either in person or online. If you have any queries, please contact the planning committee via the conference website.
