Dear ANZSTAT community,
We are a team of early- and mid-career researchers from The University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland. We have secured funding from the Australian Academy of Science (AAS) through the Theo Murphy Initiative to organise a workshop on open and reproducible science. Lack of reproducibility of scientific claims has been a recurrent topic in many branches of science and the source of public debate in recent years. Many solutions have been proposed to address specific problems, but navigating them and finding effective tools and methods to implement can be a daunting task for researchers and their institutions.
We would like to invite you all to join us in December for a two-days hands-on workshop if you are interested. If you don't really know what open and reproducible science means, you might be just the perfect candidate for this workshop. More information about how to register and the program can be found here.
