Postdoctoral positions in Biostatistics (2 available)

Melbourne, full time, 2 years each

These two new positions provide an exciting opportunity for early-career biostatisticians wishing to obtain advanced training and build a career in data science embedded in health and medical research. The successful applicants will have the opportunity to engage collaboratively with epidemiological studies that are addressing 21st century challenges in health, while also developing expertise and a methodological research portfolio in cutting-edge areas of biostatistics, in particular causal inference methods.

The two positions will join the growing causal inference group of the Victorian Centre for Biostatistics (ViCBiostat), and be based at the Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics Unit (CEBU), within the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) & The University of Melbourne at the Melbourne Children’s campus. This is the home of over 30 lifecourse studies, providing plenty of opportunities for applied collaborations.

Salary Range:  $98,092-$114,992 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) + super + salary packaging
