We are seeking a researcher in data science and natural language processing for health, to support the NHMRC Ideas Grant 2002589 “Improving the safety of implantable medical devices”.

The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team across data science and clinical & health science, helping to develop a system for the early warning of adverse events from implantable medical devices.

The successful candidate will also enjoy a substantial portion of their workload allocation that is towards their own research in the health NLP space, giving them the freedom to expand as an independent researcher.
