The Survey Statistician / Methodologist is a member of the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia (HILDA) Survey team within the Melbourne Institute which sits within the portfolio of the Faculty of Business and Economics. The HILDA Survey is a household-based panel study that began in 2001 and follows the lives of more than 17,000 people each year. It provides insights into a wide range of economic, social and demographic issues.
As a Survey Statistician / Methodologist, you will provide survey methods and research support. This includes maintaining and enhancing the imputation and/or weighting systems, undertaking statistical analysis and contributing to the research agenda of the HILDA Survey team. You will also be expected to pursue research opportunities (up to 0.2FTE) to present and publish work in your area of expertise.
