Toby Lewis passed away peacefully on 20 November, 2020, at the age of 102. 

For the last several years, he had been in a retirement home, having lost his memory, although he remained alert to the end.  Toby was a great friend of Australian Statistics, having visited universities and CSIRO many times over the last 50 years for up to 12 months at a time,  and was a great supporter of Australian Statistical Conferences.
