The 2023 International Biometric Society Australasian Region conference ("Biometrics in the Bay of Islands") will be held from 27 November to 1 December 2023.

It will be held at the Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands, next door to the historic Waitangi treaty grounds, New Zealand.

The early bird closes on 30-August-2023. This date will not be extended as we need approximately 80 people registered by that date to make the conference viable!

If your talk/abstract is not complete, please just indicate you want to talk and give an approximate title, which can be changed up until November.

The are only 61 rooms available at the conference hotel, so first in gets these. You can pay for your room at the conference, but can reserve your room
by emailing copthorne.bayofislands@millenniumhotels.com and request a booking. You will need to specify the room type and bed type, the nights you need, and either quote reference number 9451665 or include the information this is for the BOI conference.

We are sorry hotel does not have rooms available prior to the conference, but other hotels in Paihia will be available.
