Biostatistician Research Fellow
South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute, Adelaide
Full time (or part time), 2 Year Contract
At the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), we are committed to achieving innovative, ground-breaking health and medical research that fundamentally improves the quality of life for all people. The SAHMRI Women and Kids Theme focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of women, children and families, particularly those most at risk of poor health outcomes.
A rare opportunity exists for a Biostatistician Research Fellow to join the Biostatistics Unit in the SAHMRI Women and Kids Theme, and the SAHMRI node of the Australian Trials Methodology (AusTriM) Research Network. We are a growing team of post-doctoral researchers, consulting biostatisticians and PhD students committed to improving the statistical quality of health research. Working at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the Biostatistician Research Fellow will conduct methodological research on novel clinical trial design and/or clinical trial analysis methods, with potential to pursue their own research interests within this field. They will join the national AusTriM network that brings Australia’s leading biostatisticians with expertise in trials together with investigators who conduct landmark trials across a range of health and medical fields.
