FOUR POSITIONS in the Mathematical Sciences at UniSA are now open as part of an exciting investment in the future of mathematics:

    • 3 x continuing Teaching Research Lecturers (Academic Level B) in one or more of applied statistics, applied optimisation, classical applied mathematical modelling. PhD candidates nearing completion are also encouraged to apply.

Applications close at 11:30pm on Monday 6 December. (If the hyperlinks don’t work, please visit https://workingatunisa.nga.net.au/.)

Mathematics sits in UniSA STEM, which places a lot of emphasis on equity, diversity and inclusion, and reinforces the core values of staff (https://i.unisa.edu.au/staff/ptc/values-and-conduct/) under the leadership of the Executive Dean Professor Julie Mills. The current gender profile in the Mathematical Sciences is fantastic; we are almost (44%) at parity between women and men, and at 50% at each of Levels C, D and E. It’s an inclusive and friendly place to work.
