The Department of Data Science, School of Frontier Engineering, Kitasato University, Japan, is looking to appoint an Assistant Professor / Junior Associate Professor in Data Science, starting in April 2024 or as soon as thereafter.

We welcome applications from applicants whose research interests reside at the nexus of Data Science and other science disciplines. We are looking for an individual with expertise in data analysis and statistical modelling research. The appointee will assume a pivotal role in conducting high-calibre research and delivering cutting-edge Data Science education.

This is a great opportunity to join our thriving and vibrant Department/School, newly established as part of the University's initiative in April 2023.  We also expect a brand-new five-storey department building, which includes state-of-the-art in-house high-performance computing facilities, by February 2024.
