The Centre for Bioinformatics and Biometrics (CBB) within NIASRA is seeking to appoint a motivated applied statistician to provide high level input into the Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC’s) initiative at UOW which aims to maximise return on investment in grains research by underpinning the GRDC research portfolio with high quality statistical and bioinformatics support and research delivered through meaningful, long term collaborations with researchers and stakeholders.
As a key member of this initiative, you will have the opportunity to undertake collaborative research associated with GRDC funded projects, which address research problems of significance to the Grains Industry of Australia. There will be opportunity for methodological research motivated from the collaborative research.
