We are seeking an interim Research Data Manager to support the execution of research within the Department of Cancer Experiences Research, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Our multi-disciplinary research is focused on generating new and implementing existing knowledge, to the benefit of patients, their support networks and healthcare providers.

The Research Data Manager is integral in the ongoing cohesion of key research support platforms, aiming to improve research processes and access to guidance pertaining to compliance and best practice for research data handling. 

They are responsible for;

• Establishing and maintaining data related policies and standard operating procedures
• Overseeing (in conjunction with technical experts) data capture and storage platforms, and
• Providing advice and recommendations to researchers undertaking cancer experiences research about data collection processes and databases, and case report form and survey design.

This position is part-time (0.6FTE - 3 days per week) for up to 12 months.
