LECTURER IN STATISTICS (2 years fixed-term)

Applications are invited for a two-year fixed-term position as Lecturer to join the Statistics Group in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This opportunity would suit recent PhD graduate who is looking to pursue an academic career. 

We encourage applications from candidates in any area of statistics, but you  must currently have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position. 

Skills and experience

Candidates for this position should have a PhD in Statistics or equivalent, a commitment to ongoing research in Statistics, and demonstrated success and/or aptitude in teaching Statistics. 

The successful applicant will be capable of teaching a range of our Statistics papers, from first-year to postgraduate, and may supervise postgraduate research students.
