About this role:
The NSW Biostatistics Training Program is a three year workplace based training program which offers a supervised learning experience for people who have completed postgraduate studies in mathematics or science, and are committed to a career in biostatistics.
Traineeships commence in February 2020.
Applicants must have an honours degree majoring in statistics, or an equivalent qualification with a substantial statistics component (for example psychology, mathematics or science), and have an aptitude for advanced mathematical work, high level knowledge of statistical concepts and methods, and extensive experience in the use of statistical software packages. Evidence of your qualification and right to work in Australia must be included in your application.
To be considered for an interview, your application must include the following attachments:
1. a response to the two targeted questions (no more than 2 pages)
2. an up to date resume/CV (no more than 5 pages)
3. a full academic transcript for your qualification(s)
4. evidence of your right to work in Australia for the duration of the traineeship (e.g. Australian or New Zealand passport or Australian birth certificate, citizenship certificate, or permanent residency visa).
If your application does not include all of these attachments, you will not be considered for interview.
